After spending ten years working in Asia, Olivier,  still disarmingly young, decided to turn his attention to wine. He completed his viticulture studies at the University of Auckland, followed by several formative years at Felton Road, one of New Zealand’s most renowned estates.

In 2017, he returned to France with his wife and young child, where he was mentored by Marc Angeli of Ferme de la Sansonnière, a key figure in the Loire Valley’s natural wine movement.

The real turning point came after a long search, when Olivier acquired two hectares of vines surrounding the legendary Montbenault vineyard, made famous by another Loire icon, Richard Leroy. He has since devoted enormous energy to revitalizing these parcels through biodynamic farming, determined to restore their full vitality.

The first results speak for themselves: vibrant, energetic wines full of tension and life. If this trajectory continues, Olivier may well establish himself among the Loire’s modern classics within just a few years.
