New Chenin Blanc from Olivier. This wine comes from younger vines in a special, higher-altitude vineyard, giving it a leaner, lighter character while retaining the balance and precision that define Clos des Plantes wines.
After hand-harvesting, the whole bunches are fermented in a combination of fiberglass and steel tanks, preserving freshness and natural expression. The wine is then aged in tanks for eight months and bottled unfined and unfiltered, with only a touch of volcanic sulfur, gently diffused by Olivier prior to bottling.
The result is a tight, clean, and harmonious Chenin Blanc, where the vibrancy of high-altitude fruit meets the energy of young vines. Delicate, elegant, and unpretentious, it captures the purity of the Loire Valley and the distinctive character of Montbenault in every sip.

After spending ten years working in Asia, Olivier, still disarmingly young, decided to turn his attention to wine. He completed his viticulture studies at the University of Auckland, followed by several formative years at Felton Road, one of New Zealand’s most renowned estates.
In 2017, he returned to France with his wife and young child, where he was mentored by Marc Angeli of Ferme de la Sansonnière, a key figure in the Loire Valley’s natural wine movement.
