Poiésis24 – Chenin Blanc from Les Cailloux, Anjou
An extremely pure and expressive Chenin Blanc from the Les Cailloux vineyard in Anjou. The shale- and quartz-rich soils impart a profound, striking minerality to this exceptional lot.
The vineyard was neglected until 2017, when Olivier revitalized it through regenerative farming. After losing most of the 2019 harvest to late frosts, he chose to give the remaining grapes a special 24-month maturation in multi-fill oak barrels - a practice that continues in this, the third vintage of Poiésis24.
Produced from just a single barrel, this wine is a true specialty. The extended aging reveals the most compelling expression of Chenin Blanc: layered complexity, ripe stone fruit, table peach, impressive concentration, and profound minerality.

Olivier Lejeune丨Clos des Plantes
After spending ten years working in Asia, Olivier, still disarmingly young, decided to turn his attention to wine. He completed his viticulture studies at the University of Auckland, followed by several formative years at Felton Road, one of New Zealand’s most renowned estates.
In 2017, he returned to France with his wife and young child, where he was mentored by Marc Angeli of Ferme de la Sansonnière, a key figure in the Loire Valley’s natural wine movement.
