100% Aligoté from a west-facing parcel at 360 meters above sea level. Surrounded by forest, the soil here is predominantly clay. The wine is aged for 10 months in multi-fill barrels and bottled unfiltered and unfined, with only 10 mg/l of added sulfur. Notes of green apple, quince, and lime meet hints of a herbal garden and a flowering meadow, all carried by the crisp acidity of Aligoté.

Margaux and Lothar met in 2018 while both working with Pierre Fenals at Maison en Belles Lies. Margaux had joined Pierre two years earlier, in 2016, where she learned the foundations of biodynamic farming and low-intervention winemaking.
After completing his studies in oenology, Lothar gained experience through internships with Bruno Schueller in Alsace and Didier Barral in Languedoc. He also grew up learning vegetable and crop cultivation on his parents’ organic farm, which deeply shaped his agricultural sensibility.<...
