A blend of Carignan and Merlot, with Merlot sourced from Vincent Fargier in Villeneuve-de-Berg and Carignan from Le Mazel. Part of the grapes were direct-pressed, while the remainder underwent a three-week maceration. The wine was aged for one year in medium-sized, older barrels. Ripe fruit dominates the profile, with notes of sour cherry, black cherry, and blackberry.
