This full-bodied, characterful wine is crafted from Gamay from its home vineyards and Carignan from Le Mazel. Gamay is grown on granite and clay soils, while Carignan is grown on lime-rich clay. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a four-week maceration, without fining, filtration, or additives.
The wine reveals rich aromas and flavors of dark berries, spice, and minerality. Its structure is soft yet layered, culminating in a long, satisfying finish.
