The porphyry soil gives this Weißburgunder a distinctive combination of power and elegance. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed, with 80% aged for one year in 2,400 L Doppelstück barrels and 20% in 1,200 L Stückfass barrels. Like all of Andi’s wines, it is bottled unfiltered, unfined, and without added sulfur. We recommend letting the wine breathe a little before drinking to fully reveal its aromas.

Eckelsheim is located in the southwestern corner of Rheinhessen, bordering the Nahe wine region.
