This Pinot Gris comes from a vineyard with high lime content and is aged using two complementary methods: half of the grapes are directly pressed as whole bunches, while the other half remains on the skins for two weeks, releasing a delicate pigment that gives the wine a rosé-like hue. Bottled unfiltered, unclarified, and without added sulfur, the wine shows an exciting, oily texture, balanced by salinity, herbal notes, and a touch of fruit compote.
The result is a vibrant, layered Pinot Gris with a unique expression of terroir, combining freshness, texture, and aromatic complexity.

Eckelsheim is located in the southwestern corner of Rheinhessen, bordering the Nahe wine region.
