The grapes were pressed directly into large 1,200-liter german oak barrels (stückfass), where they fermented and aged for 1.5 years. Bottled without filtration or added sulfur. The wine opens with elegant flinty aromas, layered with ripe peach and the characteristic floral notes of Riesling. On the palate, it’s round and balanced, with a hint of residual sugar and a gentle fizz that adds refreshing brightness.

Eckelsheim is located in the southwestern corner of Rheinhessen, bordering the Nahe wine region.
