Collection: Domaine des Lucioles

Domaine des Lucioles was founded in 2021 by Jordan Rudloff and Élodie Heckenmayerl, an Alsace-born couple who settled in the Jura while continuing to work part-time in Paris. Both hold engineering degrees; Élodie is also a trained geologist and, alongside winemaking, she produces honey.

Jordan’s passion for Jura natural wines dates back to 2015, and with a family background in agriculture, stepping into winemaking was a natural progression. He completed formal viticulture training (BPREA, Beaune) and gained hands-on experience at Domaine de la Calmette in Cahors, as well as in the Jura with François Rousset-Martin and Étienne Thiébaud, where he worked for a vintage.

The estate currently manages less than a hectar of organically farmed vineyards, predominantly planted with old vines, all within two kilometers of their home in Frontenay. Their main plot grows Trousseau, Poulsard, and Chardonnay, including vines up to 100 years old. Plans are underway to plant an additional half hectar of vines, focusing mainly on Trousseau and Savagnin.

At Domaine des Lucioles, viticulture is meticulous and carefully managed, with a focus on clean, precise work in the vineyard. In the cellar, their philosophy is uncompromising: no sulfur is used at any stage of winemaking, producing wines that are pure, expressive, and faithful to the character of the Jura terroir.
