Kinheimer Hubertuslay, a south-facing steep slope with gray and blue slate above the Mosel. The old vines (around 45 years) are trained on stakes, planted and biodynamically cared for from the start by Rudolf himself. Hand-harvested, gently pressed, then fermented spontaneously and aged for 7 months on the lees in large, old oval Mosel casks (Fuders). The wine is bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur.
