A deeply colored, sour-cherry-toned sparkling fruit bomb—what Christine aptly describes as “Dornfelder berry compote.” The grapes are hand-harvested and directly pressed into stainless steel tanks, where fermentation begins without temperature control. The wine completes fermentation in bottle, made according to the ancestral method. At just 11% alcohol, it’s bright, light-footed, and effortlessly drinkable—a perfect sparkling red for spring and summer drinking.

The Pieroth family has been growing grapes in Nahe since 1781. Now it is Christine's turn to give new life to the old vines and centuries-old barrels.
Nahe is located halfway between Rheinhessen and Mosel, and appears as a kind of middle ground between the two well-known wine regions, both in terms of its geographical and natural features. Nowhere else in Germany do such extreme conditions exist, the Hunsrück mountains, although they provide protection against early spring frosts, also divert the rain in a different direction.
