100% Gamay.
This wine comes from a plot of 50-year-old Gamay vines on sandy, fragmented granite and quartz soils, situated at approximately 500 meters altitude in the hills surrounding Annonay.
The vinification combines 50% whole bunches macerated for 20 days with 50% direct-pressed juice, gently extracted using a basket press. The wine then rested in fiberglass tanks for nine months before being bottled manually by gravity on May 16, 2024 - the very day of harvest. The result is a wine of clarity, freshness, and expressive minerality, perfectly reflecting its high-altitude terroir.
