Made from 90% Merlot sourced from an organically farmed vineyard in Szajk on calcareous loess soils, and 10% Blaufrankisch, from biodynamically cultivated vineyards in Bátaszék, with both varieties harvested at full ripeness. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed and, after one day of settling, fermented in fiberglass tanks. A small amount of sulfur was added during fermentation—unusual for the winery, but due to the challenges of the vintage and the transport of purchased grapes, Géza chose to take a cautious approach. The result is a fruit-driven, easy-drinking wine with a warm, southern character.

Géza’s journey to Mohács took him along unexpected twists and turns, guided by a mix of chance, timing, and an open-minded curiosity about the world of wine. Originally from Upper Hungary (now Slovakia), his father had vineyards near Kürt. While no wine was ever produced there, the family’s passion for a cellar was inherited by Géza.
