100% Chardonnay from approximately 30-year-old vines. Harvested in early September 2020, followed by whole-bunch, direct pressing. It was placed in a steel tank and bottled by gravity in 2022, without the addition of sulfur. As the crown seal indicates on several of the estate’s wines, this cuvée was also bottled with some residual sugar, which makes it a perfect match for Asian dishes and a great pairing with tart flavors.

The Mazel
Gérald Oustric is a living legend of French winemaking. Many of today’s natural wine pioneers, including Andrea Calek, Jérôme Jouret, Sylvain Bock, and Anders Frederik Steen, openly acknowledge the debt they owe him for giving them the freedom to experiment and spread their wings.
