70% Kékfrankos and 30% Kadarka. A vibrant, fruit-driven red in which the grapes underwent spontaneous fermentation on the skins for one day, followed by 11 months of ageing on the lees in 300 L oak barrels. Bottled by gravity without fining or filtration, with just a touch of sulfur added, preserving freshness and character.

The Kövesd project was born from the shared vision of two passionate friends, Attila Sánta and Zoltán Varga. In 2021, they planted nearly three hectares of vines in Garamkövesd and neighboring Bajta, determined to demonstrate the true potential of the long-abandoned vineyards of the Lower Garam region through their wines.
