The name roughly translates as “in other times / in olden times,” which perfectly captures the concept behind the wine: a kind of return to the traditional world of Cerasuolo di Vittoria. Nero d’Avola and Frappato are destemmed and crushed by foot before going into tank for a very short, just 48-hour maceration. After pressing, the wine is aged for 6–7 months in fiberglass tanks, then bottled unfiltered and unfined, with only a minimal addition of sulphur.
The short maceration means the wine is driven by freshness and fruit rather than extraction. Nero d’Avola provides structure and acidity, while Frappato brings aromatic character and a softer texture.

Agricola VINB is a small, independent winery in southern Sicily, nestled between Vittoria and Chiaramonte Gulfi in the heart of the sun-soaked countryside. Founded in 2021 by two longtime friends, Vittorio and Biagio, the estate is the realization of their shared dream: to return to their homeland and make natural, terroir-driven wines.
