Géza’s perhaps most carefully handled variety, harvested from the “grand cru” site in Mohács. Hand-picked on September 14, the grapes were processed using a “hamburger” method: part left as whole clusters with stems, part destemmed over a mesh, and part directly pressed and added as rosé juice. Fermentation took place in a fiberglass tank and a barrel, after which the components were blended and bottled in August 2023. The drought year is reflected in the wine, with deeper color, ripe black fruits, baked plums, and spices, evoking an Italian, Nebbiolo-like character.
