Harvested from a 30-35 year old Pinot Blanc plantation, from calcareous, sandstone soil, cultivated without machine intervention, exclusively with horses. The grape variety shows its more powerful, characteristic face in this wine thanks to the 5-day skin maceration and 12 months of aging in new barrels. Unfiltered, unfined and bottled with only a hint of sulfur. A real curiosity!

Michael Gindl
The Gindl family has been farming in Hohenruppersdorf since 1807, where they deal with crops, livestock, forestry and wine. Michael, the sixth generation of the family, has been involved in the work since 2002. He was still an agricultural school student when, after the death of his grandfather, the winemaking part of the family business came into his hands.
