From 80-year-old Chardonnay vines grown in the southwest of Saint-Romain, on a soil rich in white marl. Hand-harvested, direct pressing, spontaneous fermentation. Aged for 11 months on the lees in small Burgundy barrels, then bottled without filtering, fining or adding sulphur.

Although Renaud Boyer, a native of Meursault, originally intended to become an engineer, he was drawn back early on to the remarkable terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, ultimately following in his grandfather’s footsteps.
He took over 3 hectares of vines (many over 80 years old) from his uncle, Thierry Guyot, a pioneer of organic and biodynamic farming in Burgundy since 1986.
