100% Chardonnay from Mâcon, located in the northern tip of Burgundy, almost in the southern part of Beaujolais. Whole bunch, slowly pressed for 6-7 hours, then aged in multi-fill oak barrels. Unfined, unfiltered, zero sulfur. Sophisticated floral character, precise, focused explosive acidity, amazingly elegant wood and the flowing energy typical of Renaud Boyer.

Although Renaud Boyer, a native of Meursault, originally intended to become an engineer, he was drawn back early on to the remarkable terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, ultimately following in his grandfather’s footsteps.
He took over 3 hectares of vines (many over 80 years old) from his uncle, Thierry Guyot, a pioneer of organic and biodynamic farming in Burgundy since 1986.
