The Nagy-Krisztus vineyard is located on the high Mineral-rich clay loess, with sedimentary and volcanic rocks underneath, makes it one of Oszkár's most prominent areas. The Karom 2021 is a home-grown version of Szerémi Zöld, Bakator, Mézes Fehér and Riesling, harvested from here. Hand-harvested, destemmed fruit, macerated on the skins for three days, then aged for 12 months in 500-liter amphora on fine lees. Bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added sulfur, and filled by gravity.

Maurer Oszkár
Oszkár Maurer, a fourth-generation winemaker whose great-grandfather also worked in the region, lives and farms his lands in Hajdújárás, 35 kilometers from Szeged, just across the Hungarian border. His vineyards straddle two historically significant areas: the South Csongrád wine region and the Szerémség region, often considered the cradle of Hungarian wine culture.
