An exciting yet traditional blend of five white grape varieties, including Mézes Fehér, Welschriesling, Tamjanika, Kövidinka and Sremska Zelenika.
Rather than being made from a single vintage, the wine was re-fermented three times over a period of three years. Each year, the wine already resting in the cellar was macerated on the fresh skins of the new vintage.
It was aged in 500-litre Hungarian oak barrels. In keeping with the philosophy of Maurer Winery, it was bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no added sulphur.
Deep amber in colour, with aromas and flavours of mountain herbs, dried chamomile, black tea, candied orange peel and dried apricot, complemented by delicate honey and saline notes.
