Traditionally, Nero d’Avola and Frappato are grown and fermented together, creating a harmonious expression of Sicily’s native reds. This wine is partly fermented as whole clusters in fiberglass tanks, then transferred to multi-fill old barrels for aging.
With a 70/30 balance in favor of Nero d’Avola, the wine is slightly more tannic and structured than the winery’s other offerings, yet remains fresh, refined, and elegant, showcasing vibrant fruit, subtle spice, and a lifted Sicilian character - far from the heaviness of a typical Sicilian red.
