100% Pinot Noir from the blend of two parcels. One lies in the heart of one of the village’s most distinguished vineyards on volcanic soils, while the other is a small, east-facing parcel where the vines grow on an ancient lava flow and blue marl. The grapes undergo 12–15 days of maceration as whole clusters in large stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 9 months in new 500-liter barrels (35%) and 228-liter barrels of several previous fills (65%).

Henri Chauvet
Born in 1987, Henri Chauvet lives and works in Boudes, in the Auvergne wine region of southern France. In 2020, he traded his suit for rubber boots, leaving behind a career in insurance to study viticulture and oenology.
During his apprenticeship in the Rhône Valley, he honed his craft under the guidance of Jérôme Bressy and the legendary Thierry Allemand of Cornas.
