The “Hautes Côtes de Beaune Puits de Chaux” vineyard is located on the Volnay plateau, planted on high limestone soils. It produces 100% Pinot Noir from vines around 40 years old, surrounded by wild forests. It ferments whole-cluster and is then aged in multi-use barrique barrels. In 2020, the terroir gives the wine abundant freshness and energy, with spicy and floral notes that seem to burst forth.
