100% Chardonnay, harvested on September 22 from 40-year-old vines in Corpeau. The grapes are gently whole-cluster pressed in an old basket press, then fermented in barrique barrels and aged on fine lees.

Pierre Clair’s story begins in the 1960s, when he first planted vines on his parents’ land near the village of Corpeau in the Côte d’Or, producing just enough for experiments and personal consumption. He and his wife, Jennifer, eventually took over his grandfather’s estate in 2006, working evenings and weekends alongside their jobs at other local wineries.
