Chardonnay from their 40-year-old vineyard in Corpeau. After gentle whole-cluster pressing, it ferments in small, older barrels and ages for 10 months. Just before bottling, a small amount of sulfur is added, and the wine is left unfiltered and unfined.

Pierre Clair’s story begins in the 1960s, when he first planted vines on his parents’ land near the village of Corpeau in the Côte d’Or, producing just enough for experiments and personal consumption. He and his wife, Jennifer, eventually took over his grandfather’s estate in 2006, working evenings and weekends alongside their jobs at other local wineries.
