A név jelentése nagyjából „más időkben / régi időkben”, és ez nagyon jól leírja a bor koncepcióját: egyfajta visszanyúlás a hagyományos Cerasuolo di Vittoria világához. Nero d’Avola és Frappato bogyózva és lábbal megtaposva kerül a tartályba, nagyon rövid, mindössze 48 órás macerációra. Préselést követően 6–7 hónap érlelést kap üvegszálas tartályban, majd szűrés és derítés nélkül, csak minimális kén hozzáadásával kerül palackba. A rövid maceráció miatt a frissességre és gyümölcsre, mint az extrakcióra épül. A Nero d’Avola adja a szerkezetet és savat, a Frappato pedig az aromatikát és a lágyabb textúrát.

Agricola VINB is a small, independent winery in southern Sicily, nestled between Vittoria and Chiaramonte Gulfi in the heart of the sun-soaked countryside.
