A Sotto Scacco 100%-ban, kézzel, gondosan válogatott Catarrattóból készült. Ez a helyi fajta, melyet Ermanno szívügyeként kezel, nemcsak meglep és felvillanyoz minket, hanem figyelemre méltó érlelési potenciállal is bír.
Kíméletes préselést követően a bor spontán erjed felújított, többedik töltésű tölgyfa hordókban, ahol a tavasz beköszöntéig érlelődik. A hordók textúrát és mélységet adnak a bornak, de nem vonják el a figyelmet a termőhely és a szőlőfajta karakteréről. Szűretlenül kerül palackba, évjáratonként mindössze 600 palack készül belőle.

Agricola Gilì
Agricola Gilì is run by the young and passionate winemaking duo Ermanno Vella and Alice Marconcini, who live on Sicily’s southwest coast in the picturesque village of Granitola Torretta, south of Marsala. Their deep connection to the land and love of nature culminated in December 2022 with the launch of their own project, focused on crafting natural wines that express the true character of their region. Their first vintage, 2023, already reflects this commitment.
